Technician - Equipment Maintenance at Bloom Energy

Perform welding and fitting tasks as per engineering drawings and specifications.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, installing, and repairing metal structures and equipment using various welding techniques and tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate welding equipment such as MIG, TIG, ARC, and gas welding machines.
• Assemble and install mechanical components and structures.
• Conduct routine maintenance and repair of welding tools and equipment.
• Inspect and test welded surfaces and structures to ensure quality and safety standards.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to complete projects efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Required qualifications

• Technician – Fitter / Welder with an ITI certification and a minimum of 7 to 8 years of hands-on experience in welding and fitting operations.
• ITI certification in Fitter/Welder or equivalent trade.
• Minimum 7 to 8 years of relevant experience in welding and fitting.
• Proficient in reading mechanical drawings and welding symbols.
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and safety standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good physical stamina and attention to detail.

Preferred qualifications and skills

• Experience in fabrication and structural welding. with Assembly & dismantling the equipment
