Node.js Developer at Amantra

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and related frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Manage AWS deployment, cloud infrastructure, and ensure optimal application performance.
  • Work closely with front-end developers and product teams to integrate APIs and deliver robust solutions.
  • Optimize application architecture for speed, scalability, and reliability.
  • Handle database design, data modeling, and performance tuning.
  • Lead backend development independently and mentor junior developers when needed.

Required qualifications

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in backend development using Node.js, Express.js, or Nest.js.
  • Strong expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudFront, etc.) and cloud deployment pipelines.
  • Experience with Docker, CI/CD, and version control (Git).
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and database systems (MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Preferred qualifications and skills

  • Familiarity with TypeScript and serverless architecture.
  • Prior experience in system architecture design and cloud cost optimization.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
