Required qualifications

• Working knowledge of AWS networking fundamentals: VPC, Subnets, Routing.
• Familiarity with Palo Alto Networks firewalls, or comparable firewall technology.
• Basic scripting skills (Python or similar) beneficial.
• Foundational understanding of network security concepts: firewalls, VPNs, IAM.
• Experience & Qualifications 2–5 years in network engineering or a related infrastructure role.
• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner / Solutions Architect – Associate
• Cisco CCNA Ways of Working
• Eager to build depth in cloud networking under senior guidance.
• Reliable and communicative during incident response.
• Comfortable operating on a rota basis.

Preferred qualifications and skills

• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tooling (Terraform or CloudFormation) is an advantage.
• Certifications (Desirable)

• You will investigate and help resolve day-to-day network issues, support incident calls, and assist with network changes, building toward greater ownership of cloud networking under the guidance of senior team members, as part of a rota bridging UK and APAC coverage.
