Vice President, Data Management & Quantitative Analysis at BNY Mellon

We are seeking a highly skilled Vice President, Data Analytics with experience in analytics, business intelligence, and data-driven decision support.

This role will lead the design and delivery of business intelligence solutions utilizing Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and modern data platforms , while partnering closely with business and technology stakeholders to advance data-driven decision-making, reporting automation, and analytics maturity across the organization.

Preferred qualifications and skills

• Experience leading enterprise reporting and dashboard transformation initiatives.
• Experience with Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, SQL Server, Oracle, Databricks, or cloud analytics platforms.
• Knowledge of dimensional modeling, data warehousing, and enterprise data architecture.
• Experience developing executive dashboards, scorecards, forecasting models, and KPI frameworks.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and managing cross-functional analytics initiatives.
• Experience within financial services, banking, asset management, risk, sales, or finance analytics functions.
• Power BI, Tableau, Azure, Snowflake, or related analytics certifications.
• Leadership Expectations Serve as a trusted advisor to business and technology leadership.
• Define and drive analytics strategies that support business objectives and operational efficiency.
• Lead complex data and reporting initiatives that span multiple business functions.
• Champion data quality, reporting governance, and analytics best practices.
• Mentor and develop analytical talent while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Identify opportunities for automation, self-service reporting, and advanced analytics adoption.
• Drive stakeholder alignment and executive engagement through data-driven storytelling and actionable insights.
