Lead Engineer - II_Playwright at Citius

The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Automation using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript) and Appium.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Automation QA Engineer with 7 to 10 years of experience in Manual and Automation Testing.

Also the candidate should possess Functional, Integration, Regression, API testing, Web UI, Mobile, and Database Testing experience.

The candidate will collaborate directly with clients and stakeholders, and ensure successful delivery of high-quality applications.

Experience with BrowserStack/Sauce Labs, SQL validation, Agile methodologies, and GenAI-assisted testing tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, and Claude is required.

Exposure to the US Healthcare domain will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead Automation QA Engineer Experience 7 to 10 Years Domain
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright(JavaScript/TypeScript) and Appium(Using Saucelabs/BrowserStack).
• Drive automation adoption and increase test coverage across web and mobile applications.
• Experience in GitHub/GitLab for version control
• Drive CI/CD integration of automated tests.
• Leverage GenAI tools to accelerate test design, test automation, requirement analysis, defect investigation, and test data generation.
• Should have experience in API testing using tools like Postman, Swagger and should know database validations
• Perform Functional, Integration, Regression, UAT, and End-to-End testing on web and on Mobile applications
• Utilize BrowserStack and Sauce Labs for cross-browser, cross-platform, and mobile device testing.
• Analyze test results, identify risks, and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
• Execute and review automation suites for web and mobile applications.
• Manage defect lifecycle and collaborate with developers, analysts, and product owners.
• Design test strategies, test plans, test estimation and quality metrics.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, Scrum Masters, and other stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and quality governance.
