SENIOR TECHNICAL LEAD at Coforge

We are seeking a highly experienced TPF Technical Analyst with deep expertise in TPF (Transaction Processing Facility) development and strong domain knowledge in airline pricing, PNR (Passenger Name Record) management, and reservation systems.

This role involves leading the design, development, and optimization of core airline applications that support high-volume, real-time transactions.

Responsibilities

• Development and enhancement of TPF-based applications supporting airline pricing, PNR, ticketing, and reservation functionalities.
• Implement scalable, high-performance solutions for mission-critical airline systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, QA, and business analysts to gather requirements and define technical solutions.
• Ensure compliance with aviation industry standards, data integrity, and security protocols.
• Optimize legacy TPF code and integrate with modern platforms and APIs.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Participate in code reviews, design sessions, and release planning.
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure system reliability and uptime.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and system architecture.
• Mandatory Skills: Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 8+ years of experience in TPF development within the airline domain.
• Strong understanding of airline pricing engines, PNR lifecycle, and reservation systems.
• Proficiency in assembly language (TPF ASM) and TPFDF.
• Familiarity with GDS systems (e.g., Sabre, Amadeus) and PSS platforms.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

• 8+ years

Preferred qualifications and skills

• Experience with modernization of TPF systems and integration with microservices or cloud platforms.
• Exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of airline industry regulations, IATA standards, and data privacy laws.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
