Asst. Manager - Piping at Cyient

Responsible for piping system design and engineering for FMCG/CPG manufacturing facilities, ensuring efficient product transfer, utility distribution, and compliance with hygiene and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design process and utility piping systems.
• Develop piping layouts, routing studies, and material specifications.
• Prepare piping design deliverables including GA drawings and isometrics.
• Review 3D models and plant layouts.
• Perform piping material selection and specification.
• Coordinate with process, civil, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation teams.
• Support engineering calculations related to pressure drop, pump sizing, and hydraulic analysis.
• Ensure compliance with ASME, ANSI, IS, GMP, and hygienic design standards.
• Participate in HAZOP and design review meetings.
• Support installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.

Required qualifications

• 10+ Years Industry: FMCG / CPG / Food Processing / Consumer Goods Manufacturing
• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Required skills

• Plant 3D, AutoCAD, SP3D, PDMS, E3D or equivalent tools.
• Hygienic piping design for food and beverage facilities.
• Utility and process piping systems.
• Stainless steel piping systems and sanitary equipment.
• Knowledge of CIP/SIP systems.
• Strong coordination and project execution experience.
• Exposure to Food & Beverage, Dairy, Personal Care, Home Care, Consumer Products, or Packaging plants.
• Experience handling EPC/EPCM projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills.

Preferred qualifications and skills

• Preferred Experience Experience in Greenfield/Brownfield FMCG or CPG manufacturing projects.
