• Location: Pune, India Corporate Title: Director Role Description The Market Risk Technology division is seeking a highly skilled, technology-oriented Engineering Lead to join the RiskFinder team.
• In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving the implementation of our strategic regulatory risk reporting platform.
• This platform is critical to meeting key regulatory requirements, including the Fundamental Review of the Trading Book (FRTB) and Stress Testing across all asset classes globally.
• As an Engineering Lead, you will combine your deep technical background in application development with strong leadership capabilities.
• You will collaborate closely with senior product and engineering stakeholders, define best-in-class software development processes, and empower global engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions across a diverse and complex technology stack.

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with senior product managers, architects, and engineering stakeholders to align technical delivery with strategic business and regulatory goals.
• Team Empowerment: Enable and mentor distributed engineering teams, helping them navigate a complex, multi-language technology stack efficiently.
• Platform Evolution & AI Innovation: Identify opportunities to integrate AI/Machine Learning capabilities across the existing technology stack to drive process automation, performance optimization, and cost efficiencies.
• Regulatory Delivery: Ensure the platform robustly meets stringent regulatory mandates (FRTB, Stress Testing) with high reliability, scalability, and data integrity.
• Your skills and experience Technical Skills Strong Programming Foundation: Extensive hands-on experience as a software developer with deep expertise in core application programming.
• Polyglot Technical Expertise: Proven experience working across a complex and diverse technology stack, including: Java C / C++ Python Oracle PL/SQL (Database design and optimization) RESTful APIs / Web Services Modern SDLC Tooling: Strong proficiency in modern software development lifecycle tools, specifically Git for version control, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
• System Architecture: Solid understanding of distributed systems, high-performance computing, and data processing architectures.
• Leadership & Professional Skills Engineering Advocacy: Demonstrated ability to define, implement, and scale engineering best practices and agile methodologies.
• Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with a proven track record of collaborating with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Problem Solving: Ability to decompose complex legacy systems and design elegant, modern, and scalable integration paths.
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
