The main task of the role is to act as a technical expert during the quotation phase to support internal and nominated external customer by offering the best product/resolution suitable for the given application, working in liaison with Sales team, Business development managers, factory PSQ’s and Inside sales team in respective countries.

For This Role, You Will Need: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and attend the pre and post order technical meeting with sales, PMO, Product management team, BDM's (Wherever applicable).
• Ensure project requirements are reviewed accurately and seek clarifications and approvals from respective collaborators before submitting the offer to customer.
• Ensure on time submission of offer, along with DOA (Delegation of Authority) process compliance.

Preferred qualifications and skills

• That Set You Apart: Knowledge in Isolation valve products, Actuators and instrument components will be a added advantage Knowledge of testing - destructive and non-destructive testing will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Metallurgy, Material science, Fluid Mechanics will be an added advantage.

• In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Work closely with internal and external customer to understand customer requirements and propose the best possible resolution for the given application-based project.

Additional role details

• The Application Engineer takes an active role in bid management, including selection of valve, sizing of actuator and pricing of all Isolation valve products and field equipment based on the customer requirement.
• On time submission of quality offer in coordination with BDM’s, internal & external sales team, Legal team, PMO and factory PSQ’s.
• Provide Pre-sales and technical support to all customers, business partners and distributers.
• Ensure CRM (Customer Relationship Management) data are updated regularly.
