Contribute to practice initiatives, reusable automation assets, and process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • 1.
  • Lead end-to-end QA activities for IoT and Smart Energy Metering projects. 2.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for functional, regression, API, HMI, and web testing. 3.
  • Validate device communication and interoperability across industrial protocols such as Modbus, BACnet, and BLE. 4.
  • Perform test planning, test design, execution, defect tracking, and quality reporting. 5.
  • Optimize automation suites to improve execution efficiency and reduce release cycle timelines. 6.
  • Work closely with client stakeholders, developers, product owners, and project managers to ensure quality deliverables. 7.
  • Mentor team members, conduct knowledge transfer sessions, and support onboarding of new resources. 8.
  • Support multiple projects simultaneously and ensure timely delivery with high quality standards. 9.
  • Analyze protocol/network logs and troubleshoot communication issues in IoT devices and gateways. 10.
  • Mandatory Skills Python Programming Test Automation Framework Development ( robot framework) API Testing and Automation Functional & Regression Automation Testing IoT/IIoT Device Validation Modbus Protocol Testing BACnet Protocol Testing Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) Testing HMI Automation Testing Web Automation Testing Defect Management and Test Reporting

Preferred qualifications and skills

  • Robot Framework / PyTest MQTT Protocol Testing Building Management Systems (BMS) Smart Metering Domain Knowledge Industrial Automation Systems Network Analysis Tools (Wireshark, Protocol Analyzers) Soft Skills Stakeholder Management Technical Leadership Team Mentoring Ownership and Accountability Problem Solving Communication and Collaboration Experience 6 to 10 years of experience in QA Automation, IoT Testing, or Industrial Automation Testing.
  • Experience working with Smart Energy, Building Automation, or Industrial IoT products is preferred.
