• Under direct supervision, performs routine assignments as an entry level professional in project controls.
• Develops core competencies with existing procedures by solving standard problems.
• Records actual and committed cost and workhours, supports development of project variances, trending and analysis of commitments and expenditures and participates in development of the project forecast and cash flow.
• Assists with the administration of the change control process.
• Supports the development and completion of job progress milestones through scheduling.
• Supports coordination with procurement and material mangers as well as engineering work group leads pertaining to essential items of supply.
• Supports identification of priorities for projects to guarantee completion.
• Contributes to forecasts and disbursements by supporting performance of schedule analysis.
• Position also may require accounting, financial management and customer reporting responsibilities at the project level.
• Typically requires an undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
