Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain Oracle Fusion Tax (ZX) setup.
• Support indirect tax requirements including VAT, GST, Sales Tax, Use Tax, and Withholding Tax.
• Support tax engine integration with third-party solutions such as Vertex, Avalara, or other tax determination tools.
• Ensure compliance with country-specific tax regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
• Support statutory reporting and tax audits.
• Collaborate with tax, finance, and compliance teams to implement regulatory requirements.
• Maintain audit trails and documentation for tax-related controls.

Additional role details

• Oracle Fusion Tax Configuration
• Define tax regimes, taxes, tax statuses, tax rates, tax jurisdictions, and tax rules.
• Configure tax determination rules based on geography, customer, supplier, product, and transaction attributes.
• Configure tax recovery, tax exemptions, tax exceptions, and tax reporting requirements.
• Integrate tax configurations with AP, AR, Procurement, Order Management, and Projects modules.
• Regulatory Compliance
• Analyse regulatory changes and assess their impact on Oracle Fusion Tax configurations.
• YOU'LL BRING:
• Business process experience in the following areas:
• Cloud/e-Business Suite (EBS): 5-10 years/solid across General Ledger, Payables, Receivables, Assets, and Cash Management
• Ability to lead enterprise structure and chart of accounts design workshops.
• Building customized Oracle Reports in OTBI & BI Publisher Rich functional and industry knowledge to diagnose complex client issues and developing appropriate recommendations
• Qualified with enterprise architecture thinking, and advisory & consulting mindset
