Skills Must have Application governance expert with strong IT risk, audit, SDLC controls, GCP foundation knowledge, infrastructure understanding, and application ownership experience within Financial Services.

Nice to have Previous experience in Asset Management or Investment Banking is a differentiator.

Responsibilities Application Governance & Compliance: Ensuring the application complies with all internal policies, information security standards, and external regulatory requirements.
Ensuring the principle of least privilege is maintained for application access.
Technical Domain Expertise: Strong understanding of the specific application's architecture, underlying infrastructure (cloud or on-premise), and integrations.

Project description Development of a new GCP-based platform to consolidate existing functionalities for the Real Estate and Private Equity businesses within Asset Management.
Managing lifecycle events, including decommissioning, upgrades, and patch management.
Facilitating regular risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and audit reviews.
Operations & Incident Management: Acting as the ultimate escalation point for high-priority incidents affecting the application.
Ensuring appropriate Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Service Level Objectives (SLOs) are defined, monitored, and met.
Overseeing disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity planning (BCP) testing.
Access & Identity Management: Ensuring strict access controls are in place (e.g., Privileged Access Management, regular user access recertifications).
Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Collaborating with Business Application Owners (BAOs) to align the technical roadmap with business strategies.
Managing relationships with third-party software vendors or internal development teams.
Risk & Control Mindset: Familiarity with IT risk management frameworks, cybersecurity principles, and regulatory compliance standards in banking.
Communication: Excellent stakeholder management skills to translate technical risks into business impact.
Problem Solving: Strong incident-resolution leadership and root-cause analysis capabilities.
