Be an integral part of the development, design, and integration of software systems from the definition phase to implementation.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership, design and integrate scalable software systems from definition to implementation, and deliver robust microservices and cloud solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and architectural guidance to the backend development team.
• Identify system deficiencies and design and implement effective, high-lifecycle solutions.
• Recommend and implement suitable technologies and architectures for client/server and internet systems.
• Provide alternative technical solutions to clients that are more efficient, reusable, or have a longer lifecycle.
• Utilize a strong understanding of database concepts, programming languages, and system architecture to ensure effective software design.
• Collaborate with project managers, keeping them updated on the progress of development efforts.

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of IT industry experience.
• Strong expertise in Java (Java 8) and Spring Framework (including REST, Security, JPA, Batch, Cloud).
• Demonstrated experience with Microservices architecture and REST protocols.
• Experience with cloud technologies and messaging platforms (AWS S3/SQS/SNS/Redis, Kafka/Zookeeper, RabbitMQ/ActiveMQ).
• Solid experience with both Relational and NoSQL databases, along with strong SQL query optimization skills.
• Proficiency with version control systems and build tools (Git, Gradle).
• Familiarity with basic Unix operating system commands.
