Oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of mechanical equipment in the DRI plant .

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability.
• Troubleshoot mechanical failures and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Monitor plant machinery performance and prepare maintenance schedules.
• Work closely with operations teams to ensure equipment runs efficiently and within safety norms.
• Maintain inventory of critical spares and coordinate procurement.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, OHSAS, and other industry safety standards .
• Prepare and maintain detailed technical reports and maintenance logs 15 years of experience in mechanical maintenance/operations in a DRI or steel manufacturing plant .
• Strong knowledge of rotary kilns, conveyors, gearboxes, compressors, pumps, and other heavy mechanical systems.
• Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, manuals, and P&ID diagrams.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
