Subject Matter Expert - Digital (Automotive)

Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced and visionary Subject Matter Expert - Automobile Digital to lead initiatives in digital transformation, strategy, and execution. The SME will bring deep technical knowledge and strategic insight to drive digital innovation, improve customer experience, and enable technology-driven business models across the organization or for clients. Key Responsibilities: - Act as the Automotive digital thought leader, advising stakeholders on digital technologies, tools, and trends.

• Define and implement digital strategies in areas such as cloud computing, data analytics, AI/ML, automation, and user experience (UX).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver scalable digital solutions.
• Evaluate and recommend digital platforms, tools, and architectures (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP, Salesforce, ServiceNow, etc.).
• Work with clients or internal teams to identify pain points, propose digital solutions, and guide implementation.
• Support pre-sales and proposal development with domain-specific digital knowledge.
• Provide mentorship and training to teams on digital capabilities and adoption strategies.
• Track KPIs to measure the impact and success of digital initiatives.

Required Skills & Expertise: - Strong understanding of digital transformation frameworks in Automotive, emerging technologies, and enterprise IT ecosystems.

• Hands-on experience with cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP), DevOps, microservices, or API-led architectures.
• Experience with AI/ML, RPA, CRM/ERP platforms, or low-code/no-code tools is an advantage.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies, digital product lifecycle, and CX/UX principles.
• Strong consulting or delivery experience in industries such as BFSI, healthcare, manufacturing, or retail is preferred.

Qualifications: - Bachelor's/master's degree in computer science, IT, Engineering, or related field.

• 10+ years of experience in digital technologies, with at least 3 years in a strategic or SME role.
• Certification in digital platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Salesforce, Azure Fundamentals) is a plus.
