C++_C#_Qt Lead Engineer at Quest Global

Design, develop, and maintain desktop applications using C++, Qt/QML and C# .NET.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in designing and developing desktop applications, implementing modern UI solutions using Qt/QML, and working with object-oriented design principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop responsive and user-friendly UI components using Qt Quick/QML.
• Implement software solutions following object-oriented design principles and best practices.
• Write effective and reusable code according to best practices.
• Understand architecture design, participate in code reviews, and technical discussions.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Ensure software quality through unit testing, prepare test case and perform developer testing.
• Drive, take ownership and responsibility of project/assigned tasks.

• Work Experience .
• Required Skills. 5+ years of experience in C++ development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Qt Framework and QML.
• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts, design patterns, and software architecture.
• Experience with multithreaded programming and performance optimization.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Ability to work independently and be proactive.
• Ability to learn new technologies as part of the job.
• Be able to clearly communicate in English language.
• Secondary Skills.
• Good working knowledge of C# .NET application development.
• Understanding of MVVM architecture and modern UI development practices.
• Experience integrating C++ and .NET-based applications is an added advantage.

Preferred qualifications and skills

• Exposure to VxWorks/embedded systems.
• Knowledge in telecommunication domain.
• Experience in client interfacing role.
• Qualification.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering or any other related field.
