Tech Lead - Java & DevOps at Worldline India

Day to Day Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality software solutions while taking ownership of product increments in each sprint, ensuring usability and adherence to coding standards

Collaborate with Product Owners to clarify requirements, manage sprint backlogs, and provide technical solutions to support agile development processes

Facilitate knowledge sharing within the team and adapt plans effectively to meet sprint goals

Communicate technical changes and impacts clearly to stakeholders while maintaining transparency

In practice this means:

10 to 15 years of proven experience in Java development with strong understanding of Java 11+ and Object-Oriented Programming principles

Expertise in Spring Boot and building scalable microservices architectures

Solid experience with testing methodologies and frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, etc.)

Strong knowledge of databases (My SQL, Postgre SQL, Cassandra) and data modeling best practices

Hands-on experience with messaging systems like Kafka for real-time data streaming

Proficiency with Docker, container orchestration, and deployment processes in cloud or on-premise environments

Knowledge of infrastructure tools such as Puppet, Hiera, Ansible, and Terraform

Familiarity with monitoring tools and log aggregation systems (Loki, Kibana, telemetry) for ensuring system availability
