Automation Tester at Kumaran Systems
Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute automated test cases for web applications.
- Create and maintain test frameworks using TestNG/JUnit.
- Perform API testing using REST Assured or similar tools.
- Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Identify, track, and report defects, and collaborate with development teams for resolution.
- Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, effort estimation, and test execution.
- Required Skills 4–8 years of experience in Software Testing with strong expertise in Automation Testing.
- Proficiency in Java, Selenium WebDriver, and TestNG/JUnit.
- Experience in API Testing using Postman or REST Assured.
- Knowledge of Maven/Gradle, Git, and version control practices.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies, and defect management processes.
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Required qualifications
- Yrs of Exp: 4 - 8
Preferred qualifications and skills
- Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber).
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Knowledge of performance testing tools is an added advantage.
