Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize database performance, ensuring efficient resource utilization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define database structures and architecture.
• Develop and maintain data models and ETL processes.
• Implement and maintain database security measures to protect sensitive data.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues and errors promptly.
• Create and maintain documentation related to database architecture and processes.
• Stay updated with emerging database technologies and recommend best practices.
• Support data migration and integration projects as required.

Required qualifications

• Must-Have Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 8-10 years of experience as a Database Developer or Database Engineer.
• Proficiency in T-SQL and experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Strong understanding of database design principles and data modeling techniques.
• Experience with performance tuning, backup, and recovery strategies.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL tools.
• Nice-to-Have Experience with cloud-based database solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases.
• Certifications related to database administration (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional).
• Experience in the healthcare industry.
