Senior Consultant – Device Coding, Coverage & Payment (3Cs) Strategy at CapeStart

We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant with strong expertise in medical device reimbursement — coding, coverage, and payment (the "3Cs") to lead development of 3Cs strategy roadmaps, CPT/HCPCS coding dossiers, and CMS payment pathway applications (NTAP, RAPID, transitional pathways, OPPS device pass-through).

Required qualifications

• Minimum qualification: Degree in Life Sciences, Health Policy, Health Economics, or related field, with hands-on experience in medical device coding, coverage, and payment strategy (reimbursement consulting, payer, or device manufacturer background).

Additional role details

• This is a consulting/on-demand role, where the consultant will lead project execution, interact with device and diagnostic clients, and play a key role in building internal team capability through training and guidance.
• The ideal candidate should be able to independently assess a device's coding, coverage, and payment posture and build the evidence and application package needed to close reimbursement gaps.
