• <h3><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h3>

• <li>Partner with F&S and Business Leaders to drive the long-term success of Stripe</li>
• <li>Coach, mentor, and oversee a team of small analysts</li>
• <li>Work cross functionally to identify important strategy questions and answer them with data</li>
• <li>Build financial forecasts and targets, track performance, and understand deviations from actuals to drive strategy and operational rigor</li>
• <li>Define metrics and leading indicators of business performance and partner with the Analytics team to develop tools and dashboards to make these metrics widely accessible across Stripe</li>

• The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.</p>
• <h3><strong>Minimum requirements</strong></h3>
• <li>8+ years of relevant FP&A, strategic finance, or business-finance experience with 2+ years managing a team</li>
• <li>Experience owning planning and forecasting processes across headcount, operating expenses, and/or revenue.</li>
• <li>Strong financial-analysis fundamentals, including budgeting and forecasting, month-end close support, and budget-versus-actual variance analysis.</li>
• <li>The ability to manage and develop a small team of analysts, including setting priorities, reviewing work, coaching, and creating clear accountability.</li>
• <li>Ability to retain a defined individual-contributor portfolio alongside people-management responsibilities. ~50% IC work, 50% Manager responsibilities.</li>
• <li>Strong SQL and/or Python skills, with demonstrated ability to automate recurring analyses and improve finance workflows through AI-enabled tools and automation.</li>
• <li>Ability to structure ambiguous problems, independently develop a point of view, and drive cross-functional projects to completion.</li>
• <li>Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills, with a track record of acting as a trusted, objective finance partner to business leaders.</li>
• <li>Experience working effectively across regions, time zones, and cross-functional teams.</li>
• <h3><strong>Preferred qualifications</strong></h3>
• <p><em>Experience in a strategic finance function at a high-growth tech company, preferably in the payments/fintech space</em></p>
• <li>Advanced knowledge of SQL or Python</li>
• <li>Advanced knowledge of data visualization tools</li>
