• This group is responsible for working with technology teams throughout the process lifecycle to specify, develop, and implement the firms’ infrastructure and new middle-and-back-office applications.</p>
• <p>This position offers opportunity to define and design the next generation of products on our platform, which is used by some of the most sophisticated hedge funds in the world; and to collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the industry.</p>
• <p><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p>
• <ul>
• <li>Define and articulate a clear product vision and strategy for financial reporting solutions aligning with overall company goals and market opportunities.</li>
• <li>Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and client feedback gathering to identify unmet needs, emerging trends, and new product opportunities within the financial reporting space.</li>
• <li>Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap, prioritizing features and initiatives based on strategic value, market demand, and technical feasibility.</li>
• <li>Work closely with the engineers/architects to translate the Product Specification to design, and then to the product itself</li>
• <li>Rigorously and continuously evaluate the progress of product/feature-in-flight by leveraging the created test cases/beds and ensure compliance to the product/feature specification and the vision</li>
• <li>Be involved in conducting competitor analysis</li>
• <li>Articulate business cases, estimate timelines and budgets and communicate with all stakeholders, prepare project plans, release notes, etc.</li>
• <li>Work with other product managers for projects cutting across multiple business areas to provide comprehensive business solutions</li>
• </ul>
• <p><strong>What you’ll need:</strong></p>
• <li>Demonstrated experience with financial reporting for hedge funds or other alternative asset managers.</li>
• <li>In-depth knowledge of financial instruments, accounting principles, Fund accounting and regulatory requirements specific to hedge funds.</li>
• <li>Proficiency in Excel along with strong analytical skills to mine counterparty statements</li>
• <li>Experience in working closely with engineering teams</li>
• <li>Outstanding academic background & passion to work in a high-tech software development environment</li>
• <li>Exceptional verbal and written communication skills</li>
• <li>Critical thinking and the ability to articulate standpoints/ideas and influence stakeholders</li>
• <li>Ability to multitask and manage multiple lines of execution with attention to detail and quality</li>
• <li>A high level of personal maturity and a collaborative attitude</li>
• <li>A healthy combination of resourcefulness, domain expertise, creativity and execution prowess</li>
