Staff Engineer Software at Infineon

Ensure that FS/CS methodologies deployed in the project are compliant to FS/CS standards and meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Support in deploying Safety methodology for SW projects at ATV MC.
• in your new role
• Support to R&D to implement the methodologies efficiently.
• Makes technical decisions regarding FS/CS Engineering for the project.
• Well connected in safety organization and contributes to FS/CS Engineering on SW topics
• Demonstrate software engineering process expertise and development experience .
• Facilitate technical discussion and deliberations and drive them to logical closure.
• Bring up new ideas and solutions to improve existing process on FS/CS.
• Key customer interface to understand requirements and needs of the customer on FS/CS at the project level.
• Defend the FS/CS practices in customer audits and assessments.
• Engage with the FS/CS community internally on SW topics.
• Demonstrate capability through publications and presentations at various internal forums.
• Support the project members in Functional Safety practises, techniques, tools and methodologies.
• Support the project to ensure our processes, methods and tools are compliant with ISO26262/ISO21434.

Required qualifications

• Demonstrate technical knowledge/ expertise with more than 5 years of professional experience.
• Act as a FS/CS engineer in the assigned project/projects in SW.
