Job Description: Department: Financial Reporting About the Team The Reporting team is responsible for financial analysis, reporting, and regulatory compliance across the organization. The key activities of the team include: <ul style="margin-top:0in;" type="disc"> <li class="MsoNormal">Performance analysis: Review and analyse segment-wise Profit & Loss, including premiums, investments, claims, commissions, and expenses.</li> <li class="MsoNormal">Financial reporting: Prepare and analyse financial statements under IGAAP and IND AS, and support transition to new standards such as IND AS 117.</li> <li class="MsoNormal">Planning and forecasting: Develop Profit & Loss projections based on past trends, market inputs, and discussions with stakeholders.</li> <li class="MsoNormal">Regulatory reporting: Prepare and submit reports to IRDAI and SEBI in a timely and accurate manner.</li> <li class="MsoNormal">Monitoring key metrics: Track solvency, loss ratio, combined ratio, and other key indicators, and highlight areas of improvement.</li> <li class="MsoNormal">Investor communication: Support preparation of investor presentations and quarterly updates with clear and relevant information.</li> <li class="MsoNormal">Process improvement: Drive automation and improve reporting processes for better efficiency and accuracy.</li> </ul> About the Role <ul style="margin-top:0in;" type="disc"> <li class="MsoNormal">Investor Reporting & Communication - Assist in preparation of earnings presentations, investor factsheets, analyst briefing materials, and annual reports.</li> <li class="MsoNormal">Financial & Peer Analysis - Monitor analyst reports, investor feedback, peer performance, and market trends.</li> <li class="MsoNormal">Investor CRM Management - Partner with technology teams to design, implement, and enhance the Investor CRM platform, Maintain an up-to-date database of investors, analysts, and market participants.</li> <li class="MsoNormal">Capital Markets Intelligence - Track industry developments, regulatory changes, analyst reports, news flow, and market trends impacting the business.</li> <li class="MsoNormal">Consolidated financial statements – Preparation of quarterly consolidated financial statements</li> <li class="MsoNormal">Analysis of Management Expenses – Review the Company's expenses monthly, identify key trends and major changes, and highlight areas where costs can be reduced.</li> <li class="MsoNormal">Preparation of IND AS Workings and Journal Entries – Prepare workings and pass accounting entries related to Ind AS standards, including Ind AS 116 and Ind AS 109.</li></ul> Key Requirements: <ul style="margin-top:0in;" type="disc"> <li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left:-16pt;">Education: Chartered Accountant</li> </ul> <ul style="margin-top:0in;" type="disc"> <li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left:-16pt;">Experience: Fresher/ less than 1 year of experience</li> <li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left:-16pt;">Skills in: Understanding of Indian Accounting Standards. Sound understanding of IND AS</li> <li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left:-16pt;">Tech Mastery: Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modelling.
