Autonomous Networks Transformation Consulting

This role requires a respected industry professional with deep expertise in Autonomous Networking as defined by TM Forum, 3GPP, and core AN foundational capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Prior to client investment
• Lead advisory projects to define AN vision and strategy, prioritise operational flows, assess AN capabilities, assess AN maturity, Define target architectural blueprints, define Target operating models and justify investments
• Post client investment
• Realize AN use-cases and solution implementation through Operating model transformation and value realization and assurance
• Technology
• Bring deep knowledge of industry standards and architectures for mobile networks.
• Apply hands-on experience with AN foundational capabilities: data, inventory, cloud-native environments, service orchestration, AI/ML models and MLOps, intent-based operations, service management, agentic AI, and telecom operational processes.
• Demonstrate proven experience in AI-driven or transformation consulting, with a strong understanding of Agentic AI.
• Leverage familiarity with TM Forum frameworks (AN, eTOM, SID, TAM), 3GPP standards, and ITIL practices.
• Utilize experience with automation technologies such as SMO, DevOps, Cloud-Native orchestration, Ansible, and RPA.
• What You Will Bring
• Required Experience - min 10 years
• 5+ years of experience in network automation and transformation, including 7+ years in consulting roles involving sales and delivery of transformation programs.
• Strong industry knowledge with a deep understanding of network autonomy concepts and evolution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to influence and engage senior-level stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; a Master’s in Engineering or Business is a strong advantage.
• All academic credentials must be from recognized and accredited institutions and are further subject to verification

• As a Principal Consultant, you will lead and oversee consulting engagements, mentor experienced consultants, and take a leading role in business development through developing and managing proposals, presentations, and opportunity identification.
• The role is global and highly collaborative, involving close work with Ericsson teams across multiple business units and with clients worldwide.
• Some assignments may support internal solution development or value-argumentation initiatives.
• International travel at short notice is expected (typically 50–75% during normal conditions).
