– Intern: Flight Operations Support

Position Title: Intern – Flight Operations Support

Reporting To: Flight Operations / Technical Support Lead

Responsibilities

  •  Execute in-house quality checks of drones, accessories, and supporting systems to
  • ensure operational readiness and compliance.
  •  Perform health assessments on drones, batteries, DGPS/GNSS units, cameras, and
  • payloads; identify issues and escalate for maintenance.
  •  Conduct manual and autonomous flight tests following standard validation procedures.
  •  Document test procedures, results, anomalies, and corrective actions in structured
  • formats.
  •  Collaborate with maintenance, logistics, and service delivery teams to resolve
  • operational issues.
  •  Provide on-call technical support for deployed drones and assist field teams with
  • troubleshooting.
  •  Visit field sites as needed for drone health checks and maintenance activities.
  •  Conduct component-level validation tests, including integration, calibration, and
  • functional checks.
  •  Track and coordinate the movement of drones, spares, and accessories; update
  • delivery statuses and flag delays.

Required qualifications

  • & Skills
  •  Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Electronics, Mechatronics,
  • Aerospace, UAV/Drone Technology, or related fields.
  •  Basic understanding of UAV systems, flight mechanics, GNSS/DGPS systems, and
  • battery technologies.
  •  Familiarity with electronics, sensors, payloads, and basic troubleshooting.
  •  Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  •  Proactive, results-driven mindset suited for dynamic operations.
  •  Interest in drones, batteries, cameras, GNSS/GPS, payload integration, and field
  • operations.
  •  Willingness to travel for field assignments.
  •  Exposure to drone operations, RC flying, flight testing, or maintenance.
  •  Experience with Excel/Google Sheets and documentation workflows.
  •  Comfortable in hybrid oAice + field environments.
  •  Strong organizational skills for logistics and spares tracking.
