AEM Technical Architect at Adobe

This role will be part of AEM Competency leadership team driving technical excellence, innovation and capability maturity across programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide architectural oversight across projects ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed AI into digital experience platforms.
• Provide technical estimations, architecture blueprints and capability showcases.
• Contribute to and evolve the competency roadmap for AEM and AI capabilities in alignment with organizational goals.
• Conduct internal trainings, workshops and certification programs.
• Collaborate with peer competency managers to standardize best practices and reusable assets across programs.
• Conduct regular check-ins, performance reviews and career planning.
• Drive skill transformation of the team in line with evolving landscape.

Required qualifications

• 12+ years in digital experience platforms, with 4+ years of hands on experience in Architect capacity for AEM/EDS solution.
• Team Leadership: Proven experience managing teams, conducting regular check-ins and driving performance management.
• AEM Expertise.
• Deep experience in AEM Sites, Assets, Headless CMS and AEM as a Cloud Service.
• AI Skills.
• Hands-on or strategic experience with Generative AI (LLMs, prompt engineering, content automation).
• Strong understanding of Agentic AI systems and their application in enterprise workflows.
• Strong experience in solution architecture leveraging AEM, microservices, APIs and cloud-native systems.
• Proven track record of technical leadership for large and complex engagements and building competencies.
• Experience working with global clients, pre-sales tea.

Preferred qualifications and skills

• Exposure to AEM Edge Delivery Services (EDS) is highly preferred.
• AEM Architect certification preferred.

• Strengthen and scale existing Centers of Excellence (CoE) for AEM and AI-driven digital experience solutions.
• Quality & Governance.
• Establish coding standards, review mechanisms and delivery governance.
• People Leadership .
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of AEM developers, architects, and leads.
• Drive hiring strategy, onboarding and capability development aligned with business needs.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous learning.
• Act as an escalation point for delivery challenges and ensure successful outcomes.
