Fullstack Engineer (NodeJs) at Ascendion

Design, develop, and maintain scalable end-to-end web applications leveraging Node.js and modern front-end frameworks to deliver high-performing user experiences.

Job Title: Fullstack Engineer NodeJS

Responsibilities

• Build robust RESTful/GraphQL APIs, manage seamless database integration, and ensure high availability across the entire software stack.

Required qualifications

• Primary Focus: Must be a strong Node.js specialist.
• This is the core backend technology for the role.
• Full-Stack Balance: The role is Backend-Heavy.
• While React is listed, only need enough frontend knowledge to provide support if called upon.
• Candidate is not expected to lead UI development.
• Python & Java
• These are secondary.
• Basic understanding of at least one (plus strong Node) is sufficient.
• Windsurf (AI tool) is used internally, which handles much of the heavy lifting for these languages.
• The Project: Building out the backend for an internal UI application.
