Responsibilities

• Design and synthesize novel small molecules to target specific disease indications 2.
• Utilize structure-activity relationships (SAR) and other medicinal chemistry principles to optimize the potency, selectivity, and pharmacokinetic properties of lead compounds 3.
• Collaborate with computational chemists, biologists, and pharmacologists to design and prioritize new chemical entities for synthesis and biological evaluation 4.
• Perform literature searches and analyze scientific literature to identify and implement new synthetic methodologies and technologies 5.
• Contribute to the preparation of patent applications, technical reports, and scientific publications 6.

Required qualifications

• Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, or related field with 2-5 years of industry experience, or M.S. with 5-10 years of industry experience 2.
• Strong background in synthetic organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, and chemical biology 3.
• Proficiency in modern synthetic methods, purification techniques, and analytical instrumentation 4.
• Demonstrated track record of successful contributions to drug discovery projects and a deep understanding of the drug development process 5.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, scientific creativity, and a passion for innovation 6.
