Required qualifications

• PhD in Organic Chemistry or Medicinal Chemistry from a reputed research institute from India or abroad, with a minimum of 1-2 years of Post-Doctoral research experience from a reputed institute abroad.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of Industrial experience, including at least 1 year as a team leader – with proven track record of handling a small team of minimum 3-4 MSc research associates.

Additional role details

• Publications in peer-reviewed journals of international repute is mandatory.
• Hands-on experience in Medicinal Chemistry, Drug Discovery or Integrated drug discovery projects, together with solid understanding and grounding in synthesis of complex target molecules for the purpose of biological screening.
• Good understanding of various drug discovery and medicinal chemistry aspects and moderate exposure to the concepts and practices of small molecule-based PROTACs and protein degradation in general would be a great plus.
