Senior Electrical Engineer - Water (Mumbai) at Burns & McDonnell

+ Designing electrical systems for water and wastewater treatment facilities, including power distribution (low and medium voltage), emergency power system design, load calculations.

Responsibilities

• + One-line drawings, motor schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• + Design calculation of Transformer, Emergency generator, UPS, Battery system, cable, and lighting system.
• + Cable schedule, panel board schedule.
• + Grounding plan, cable tray & power plan, duct bank plan, Area classification plan, and lighting plan.
• + Technical specification and datasheets of major electrical equipment.
• + Preparation of Technical bid evaluation and vendor drawing reviews.
• + Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams across multiple BMcD offices for project execution and standard compliance.
• + Innovation and improvement in Electrical engineering design practices.
• + Quality assurance, adherence to project schedule, and meeting client requirements.

Required qualifications

• 8-12 years
• *Technical Skills Required:**
• + Experience in industrial & municipal water / wastewater treatment projects.
• + Knowledge of NEC, NFPA and U.S. local codes and standards.
• + Proficiency in Revit, and AutoCAD for electrical design and coordination.
• + Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• + Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
