What awaits you/ Job Profile You will be responsible for Operational Requirements Management and CAD Data Management.

Responsibilities

• You will create structured and parametric CAD models to efficiently develop synergy parts for related derivatives.

Required qualifications

• Design and Development experience of HVAC parts • Experience in virtual vehicle development and understanding of mechanical relationships • Knowledge of common manufacturing methods for interior components • Excellent communication skills to coordinate independently with interface partners • Ability to manage and maintain data and documentation in accordance with BMW standards Must have technical skills. • Familiarity with different manufacturing technologies for plastic components (Injection molded parts- No painted parts) • Understanding of fixation parts and assembly processes • Experience participating in integration meetings and interface coordination Must have technical skills • Experience with collision checks and integration of special characteristics, tolerances, and component identification in drawings Must have technical skill Very good skills in HVAC System design and Requirements management.

Preferred qualifications and skills

• Creation of technical specifications good knowledge of the PRISMA database for publication and data management Good to have Technical skills Extensive theoretical background knowledge in the development of HVAC parts.

Additional role details

• Management and assessment of requirement change requests Ensuring end-to-end traceability across requirements, validation activities, and product documentation Preparation, validation, and provision of CAD data for development projects and supplier communication Management and maintenance of CAD datasets, structures, and engineering releases Support of packaging studies, installation space investigations, and concept evaluations using CAD tools Coordination of CAD data exchange between internal development teams and external suppliers Ensuring data quality, consistency, and compliance with internal CAD standards and processes Your role includes ensuring fixation, feasibility, and assembly of parts, defining and designing interfaces to neighboring components, and coordinating these interfaces independently with partners.
• Additionally, you will prepare detailed drawings with all BMW release-relevant content and manage data publication and documentation in the PRISMA database.
• Regular collision checks and thorough documentation of changes are part of your daily tasks.
• You will actively contribute to integration meetings representing your scope.
• What should you bring along • Strong expertise in HVAC Design and overall functioning with a focus on requirements and specififcation.
• Concept development of instrument panels, cross car beam, center console, door panels and components of interior light: CAD data management, supplier and Stakeholder management of System requirements.
