The role involves in management of process chain teams including problem analysis and development of manufacturable solutions from concept to series release for the respective component ( roof system ) scope .

Required qualifications

• Proven experience with Roof System, must have led the Team of 4 people including lead Engineer and CAD engineers for more than 2 programs.
• Knowledge of BMW work environments is advantageous (PRISMA, NextOne , PQM, IRAM) Business fluent knowledge of English ( written and spoken) Must have technical skill Proficiency in dealing with cross functional team , manufacturing solution .

Preferred qualifications and skills

• Good to have Technical skills Lean manufacturing & DFM Problem solving mindset .

Additional role details

• What awaits you/ Job Profile Role involves leading the Convertible Roof System, Stakeholder Management and Supplier management.
• Tracking Cost, Quality, timing and Processes for the Roof System.
• Knowledge of BMW data related to the entire vehicle development process .
• If design changes are required : Implementation of the component ( Roof parts , Fuel filter flap ) changes in CATIA, execution of the change management process up to the release of the CA models in the BMW systems .
