We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Associate, Full-Stack Engineer to join our Wealth Services Engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, component and integration design for enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, event-driven services, and distributed systems.
• Implement observability using structured logging, metrics, tracing, monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and runbooks; lead troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, remediation, and performance optimization.
• Provide hands-on technical direction, coordinate delivery across developers and components, mentor team members, and collaborate with product, architecture, QA, DevOps, data, security, and support teams.

Preferred qualifications and skills

• To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent practical experience; advanced degree preferred. 4–8 years of enterprise software development experience, with substantial hands-on Java backend engineering and technical leadership.

• This role is located in Pune In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: Own end-to-end technical delivery, from requirements analysis and solution design through development, testing, deployment, stabilization, and support.
• Engineer for scalability, security, reliability, maintainability, fault tolerance, and recoverability, using resiliency patterns such as retries, timeouts, circuit breakers, idempotency, and graceful degradation.
• Use Python for automation, scripting, data processing, backend utilities, application integration, and AI orchestration.
• Integrate AI/ML models, LLM or NLP services, inference APIs, and intelligent automation with validation, preprocessing, post-processing, fallback handling, monitoring, traceability, security, privacy, governance, and human oversight.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions, clearly documenting trade-offs, dependencies, risks, and non-functional requirements.
• Establish automated unit, integration, API, contract, regression, performance, and resilience testing; enforce secure coding and engineering standards through design and code reviews.
• Advanced proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, microservices, REST APIs , Angular, object-oriented design, SOLID principles, design patterns, clean architecture, and domain-driven design.
• Strong distributed-systems expertise, including service decomposition, synchronous and asynchronous integration, resiliency, fault tolerance, observability, API security, and highly available design.
• Strong experience with Oracle, SQL, transactions, data-access patterns, and query optimization .
• Experience integrating backend applications with AI/ML models, inference APIs, NLP or predictive services, recommendation services, or intelligent automation.
• Strong automated-testing capability across unit, integration, API, contract, performance, and resilience testing.
• Experience with Git, Maven or Gradle, CI/CD pipelines, release processes, automated deployments, secure coding, monitoring, debugging, performance tuning, and production support.
• Proven ability to conduct design and code reviews, mentor developers, solve complex technical problems independently, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and pair programming skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and collaboration platforms like Slack.
