• Roles & Responsibilities To obtain employment and experiential opportunities in business, industry, academia for students in all programs of the college.
• To counsel, prepare and enhance hiring potential of students, new graduates into the job market.
• To assist in the internships and placement of students.
• Finding placement opportunities for students.
• Building and maintaining relationships with students to discover skills and preferences.
• Liaising with students and employers during placements.
• Fostering relationships with local placement providers.
• Negotiating terms of placements with providers.
• Conducting pre-placement background checks.
• Providing lists of placement students to course coordinators.
• Reporting student or workplace issues.
• Providing information and documentation about placements to studen Desired Skills The candidate should be a Graduate in any field.
• Excellent communication skills written and verbal and negotiation skills Knowledge of functioning of academic institutions and placement process The candidate should have good interpersonal skills and networking in the market.
