We are looking for bright and exceptional programmers to join our Software Developer teams based in the firm's offices in Hyderabad/Bengaluru/Gurugram.

Responsibilities

• You will execute individual projects and deliverables while collaborating with business groups, driving complete project lifecycles from collecting and analyzing requirements through design, implementation, deployment, and production support.
• You will build robust domain knowledge in the business you support, continually look for ways to improve the existing setup, and strike the right balance between pragmatic near-term solutions and long-term maintainability.

Required qualifications

• ─ A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field, with an exceptional foundation in algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented programming ─ At least 4 years of programming experience in Python or equivalent languages, in addition to some or all the following: React, Redux, RESTful web services, and databases ─ A deep understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), including evaluation and prompting techniques ─ Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work on complex, ambiguous problems ─ Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders ─ Demonstrated ability to own projects end-to-end and drive them to completion

Preferred qualifications and skills

• ─ Prior exposure to project management ─ Experience building AI-driven automation frameworks, as well as semantic search or knowledge retrieval systems at scale

Additional role details

• We have requirements across various teams whose work spans the entire life cycle of a trade, scalable, high-performing data APIs in support of our Quant research, the systems supporting post-trade, accounting, valuation, and reporting operations, infrastructure solutions for analytic computations, and critical applications that support legal workflows.
• Because the software we build is closely tied to the performance of the firm's investments and to its day-to-day operations, the work done by these teams is highly critical and impactful.
• You will work closely with a broad set of stakeholders, translating their needs into well-reasoned technical proposals and carrying those proposals through to delivery while holding a high bar for both quality and timelines.
• You will explore and apply generative AI both to solve business problems and to accelerate your own work across prototyping, coding, testing, and troubleshooting.
• You will provide direction and guidance to junior members of the team, participate actively in code and design reviews, and contribute to an excellent engineering culture through documentation, knowledge sharing, and mentorship.
