Development Lead - Closures at Expleo

Ensure closure component/system development aligns with quality, cost, weight, timing, and performance objectives.
Ensure compliance with homologation, regulatory, and internal engineering standards.
Execute robust and cost-effective engineering solutions ensuring successful program launches.
Support supplier development activities, technical reviews, capability assessments, and issue resolution.
Lead root-cause analysis and support corrective actions during development and build phases.
Develop and maintain source packages, technical documentation, and engineering deliverables.
Support development of technical roadmaps, training materials, and engineering policies.
Ensure adherence to internal control systems, engineering processes, and PLM workflows.

Closure : Pune [2 - UGNX] & Chennai [6 - CATIA] Lead engineering development activities for closure systems and components across vehicle programs.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders for collaborative engineering activities.
Support design release, engineering documentation, validation planning, and technical sign-offs.
Drive standardization, benchmarking, lessons learned, harmonization, and best practice implementation.
Coordinate with design studio and vehicle integration teams for milestone achievement and packaging feasibility.
Support product diversity definition and value optimization activities.
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Automobile / Production Engineering or related discipline Strong experience in automotive Closure Systems development.
Hands-on experience in concept design and feasibility studies for: Side Doors Hoods Fenders Liftgates / Tailgates Door Hardware Sealing Systems Door Modules Manual Tops Experience conducting technical reviews with suppliers for: Glass systems Window regulators Door modules Tops Sealing systems Experience coordinating with Design Studio and Vehicle Integration teams.
Strong exposure to engineering release processes in production environments.
Proficiency in UG NX and/or CATIA.
Experience working with Teamcenter / PLM systems. 6 to 8 years
