• Read engineering drawings Set tool offsets and work offsets Measure parts using vernier callipers, micrometres, and bore gauges Perform basic machine maintenance and follow safety procedures Operate CNC Turning Machines safely and efficiently Load raw materials and unload finished components Set up tools, inserts, chucks, and workpieces as per process requirements Read and interpret engineering drawings and process sheets Verify the correct CNC program before machining Monitor machining operations to ensure quality and productivity Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections Measure components using: Vernier Caliper, Micrometre, Bore Gauge, Height Gauge, Dial Indicator, Thread Plug & Ring Gauges Replace worn or broken cutting tools and inserts Record production, inspection, and rejection data Perform routine machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance Report machine faults, quality issues, and tool breakage to the supervisor Follow safety procedures, wear appropriate PPE, and maintain 5S standards Meet daily production targets while minimizing scrap and rework
