Job details​ Proposed designation​ Senior (Qualified)​ Role type​ Supervisory and Audit Execution​ Reporting to ​ Assistant Manager​ Geo to be supported​ Germany​ Work timings​ 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM​ Roles & responsibilities ​ We are recruiting for a Senior in the Financial Service Audit team. Working as a Senior in this team, your responsibilities will include:​ Leading and managing a team comprising of fresh graduates and experienced professionals. ​ Auditing and Incharging complex sections of the financial statements of companies as per country specific statutory requirements​ Monitoring work, managing, and motivating the team to ensure deliverable meet necessary quality standards ​ Being active member of the Financial Service Audit engagement team and performing audit procedures ​ Contacting client and onshore team regularly to update on the progress of audit engagement​ Sharing knowledge, mentoring, and coaching the team members.​ Identification of issues/missing information and managing & tracking the open issues until resolved.​ Maintaining the data confidentiality and adherence to the risk management policy by the team members.​ Performance review of the team.​ Review of the team’s work and to provide timely feedback to team members to enable them to improve their performance.​ Building relationships with senior stakeholders both onshore as well as KRC​ ​ ​ Educational Qualifications-​ Professional Chartered Accountancy qualification (e.g. ICAI or ACCA) ​ Additional certifications (if any) ​ ​ Work Experience-​ 1-3 years of experience with a Big4 in a client facing environment working on Financial Services audits and/or international clients. End to end audit experience will be an added advantage​ Asset Management/ Financial services practice would be preferred but not mandatory. ​ Mandatory technical & functional skills​ In depth knowledge of external Audit for Financial Service clients and/or international clients​ Experience on Financial Service Audits (i.e. Banking, Insurance, Asset Management, Real Estate) will be an added advantage​ Understanding of international GAAP, IFRS will be an added advantage​ Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) ​ Willingness and demonstrated experience to quickly and effectively climb learning curves​ ​ Key behavioral attributes/requirements​ Strong analytical bent of mind and structured problem-solving approach​ Personal drive and positive work ethic to deliver results within tight deadlines and in demanding situations​ Flexibility to adapt to a variety of engagement types and work environments​ Effective at inspiring and motivating team members in order to deliver high quality standards​ ​ ​
