- This role goes beyond standard Hadoop administration.
- We require a candidate with a deep technical understanding of Hadoop, capable of troubleshooting complex issues, analyzing source code, applying patches, and modifying Hadoop open-source code when necessary.
- Responsibilities Develop and maintain Java applications and platform components.
- Troubleshoot complex Hadoop issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- Investigate problems at Hadoop source-code level.
- Support and improve the existing Hadoop installed base.
- Automate deployment, configuration and infrastructure activities.
- Advanced Apache Hadoop knowledge, beyond administration and usage.
- Ability to read, debug and modify Hadoop source code.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for complex distributed systems.
- Strong Linux knowledge.
- Git and CI/CD experience.
- Highly relevant technologies Ansible Kubernetes Python Azure DevOps Terraform Istio Nice to have K8 Other Languages English: C1 Advanced Seniority Senior
