Principal Engineer (Integration Manager)

<p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Experience - 11+yrs</li><li>Extensive experience in enterprise integration architecture, solution architecture, and technical leadership.</li><li>Strong expertise in enterprise integration patterns, interface design, and integration across multiple interconnected systems.</li><li>Proven experience in solution management, project delivery, resource planning, risk management, and release governance.</li><li>Strong understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, synchronous and asynchronous communication, microservices, JSON/XML, and API security, including OAuth.</li><li>Knowledge of ESB, MFT, event-driven architecture, schedulers, batch processing, and file-based integrations.</li><li>Strong business analysis skills, including requirements gathering, functional specifications, use-case definition, and solution documentation.</li><li>Experience creating and reviewing UML diagrams, sequence diagrams, flow diagrams, interface specifications, and field mappings.</li><li>Proven ability to manage Agile/Scrum delivery, project timelines, effort estimation, resource allocation, dependencies, defects, and stakeholder expectations.</li><li>Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing business and technical stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle.</li><li>Familiarity with cloud fundamentals and integration services across AWS and Microsoft Azure.</li><li>Experience with integration monitoring, debugging, log analysis, ELK dashboards, ServiceNow, and Confluence.</li><li>Excellent communication, problem-solving, negotiation, decision-making, and team management skills.</li><li>Experience managing integrations involving 10 or more enterprise systems is preferred.</li><li>Exposure to Apigee API Management, TIBCO, or similar enterprise integration platforms is an advantage.</li><li>AWS/Azure certifications and experience with enterprise integration monitoring tools are desirable.</li><li>Notice period: Immediate to 30 days.</li></ul><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Lead enterprise integration initiatives, drive solution architecture, and translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and reliable technical solutions.</li><li>Design and oversee enterprise integration solutions using APIs, file-based transfers, event-driven architecture, and batch processing.</li><li>Define integration patterns, interface specifications, data mappings, and error-handling mechanisms across interconnected enterprise systems.</li><li>Drive requirements gathering, business analysis, functional documentation, use-case definition, and end-to-end solution design.</li><li>Lead integration architecture discussions involving REST/SOAP APIs, microservices, Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), Managed File Transfer (MFT), and event-driven systems.</li><li>Define and oversee API security, authentication, authorization, and integration testing using tools such as Postman.</li><li>Manage end-to-end project delivery, including project planning, effort estimation, resource allocation, sprint execution, release management, production deployment, and hypercare.</li><li>Identify and manage project risks, dependencies, defects, escalations, KPIs, SLAs, and delivery governance.</li><li>Coordinate business analysts, solution architects, developers, QA engineers, and operations teams to ensure successful project execution.</li><li>Engage with business stakeholders and technical teams to align integration solutions with business objectives, timelines, and quality standards.</li><li>Monitor integration performance, troubleshoot production issues, and drive root-cause analysis using logs, ELK dashboards, and operational monitoring tools.</li><li>Ensure comprehensive technical documentation, including UML diagrams, sequence diagrams, process flows, interface specifications, and field mappings.</li><li>Drive Agile/Scrum delivery practices, stakeholder communication, and continuous improvement across integration initiatives.</li></ul>
