Python Lead Developer at NexTurn

Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable enterprise applications.

Design and develop Python-based backend services and microservices.

Build and integrate RESTful APIs and distributed applications.

Develop and maintain frontend applications using React.js and TypeScript/JavaScript.

Define and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable application architecture.

Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding and design best practices.

Troubleshoot performance, scalability, and production issues.

Mentor developers and provide technical guidance to the engineering team.

Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and other stakeholders to deliver projects successfully.

Contribute to CI/CD, cloud deployment, monitoring, and production support.

Required qualifications

  • Hands-on experience in software development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Python.
  • Experience with FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
  • Strong understanding and implementation experience of Microservices Architecture.
  • Strong experience in REST API development and integration.
  • Good hands-on experience with React.js.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript.
  • Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
  • Experience with Git and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Proven experience in technical leadership, mentoring, and code reviews.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Experience with AWS / Azure / GCP, Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Kafka / RabbitMQ or other messaging platforms.
  • Experience with Redis / MongoDB / NoSQL.
  • CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
  • Automated testing using PyTest.
  • Experience with event-driven architecture and distributed systems.
  • Exposure to AI/GenAI technologies is an added advantage.
  • Minimum qualification: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
