General Manager – Verticals (P&L) at Techjays

Own P&L for assigned verticals — revenue, margin, utilisation, and hiring plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead new vertical launches end-to-end: market thesis, offer definition, pricing, first clients, and team build.
• Drive delivery leadership across your verticals, ensuring quality, timelines, and strong client outcomes.
• Demonstrate a basic working understanding of the organisation's financial operations — including revenue recognition, cost structures, margin drivers, and budgeting — to make sound P&L decisions.
• Build and maintain a leadership bench — hiring, coaching, and holding vertical leads accountable.
• Maintain a weekly operating rhythm with the CEO, covering numbers, risks, and key decisions.
• Work closely with enterprise clients in the US and across time zones to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
• Contribute to Techjays' broader strategy as the company scales into the agentic AI market.

Required qualifications

• 12+ Years (minimum 5 years running a business unit, practice, or vertical with P&L ownership)
