Define and execute the software engineering practice strategy aligned with business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Build differentiated capabilities across Healthcare, MedTech, Digital Health, Payviders, and Life Sciences.
• Drive technology roadmap, innovation initiatives, competency development, and investments.
• Establish and strengthen capabilities in Cloud Platforms, Embedded Software, Medical Device Software, Mobile & Web Applications, Data Engineering, Cybersecurity, and DevSecOps.
• Develop reusable frameworks, accelerators, reference architectures, and engineering best practices.
• Lead talent transformation through competency frameworks, career development, upskilling, certification programs, and leadership mentoring.
• Drive recruitment and build future technical leadership pipelines.
• Lead innovation programs, technology evaluations, proof-of-concepts, and strategic partnerships.
• Establish engineering governance, quality standards, and delivery excellence practices.
• Support sales and business development teams through solutioning and customer engagements.
• Create service offerings and contribute to business growth through capability-led expansion.
• Represent the organization at industry forums and drive thought leadership initiatives.

Required qualifications

• Desired Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience 20+ years of experience in software engineering and delivery leadership. 8+ years leading engineering practices, technology organizations, or large delivery teams.
• Strong experience in Healthcare, Medical Devices, Diagnostics, Digital Health, or Life Sciences domains.
• Proven track record of building and scaling global engineering teams.
• Technical Expertise Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) Medical Device Software Development Embedded Systems AI/ML Applications DevSecOps Quality Engineering Software Architecture Leadership Attributes Strategic thinker with strong execution focus.
• Excellent customer-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Capability builder and mentor.
• Innovation-driven growth mindset.
• Strong collaboration and influencing skills.
