CAD Engineer at VU-DYNAMICS Private Limited

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented CAD Engineer to be responsible for the design and development of aircraft components.

The role requires proficiency in SolidWorks understanding of manufacturing processes, and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering and production teams.

The ideal candidate should be able to interpret design requirements, create machinable and manufacturable components, and ensure that designs align with aerospace industry standards.

Required qualifications

  • B.
  • Tech / B.E. in Aerospace, Mechanical, Production or any related fields.
  • At least 1 year experience in Solid Works.

Required skills

  • Experience in developing various UAV structural assemblies like- Wing geometry, fuselage, control surfaces by constraining the strength to weight ratio with in available space.
  • Knowledge of CAD design of Moulds and Jigs for the vital UAV components In-depth knowledge of working with Part files, Assembly files and drafting in SolidWorks.
  • Strong with basic physics and knowledge in subjects like: - Engineering Mechanics, Drawing, Strength of materials, Machine design is required.
  • Ensure that designs adhere to industry standards, regulations and project specifications Able to work along with the prototyping team to translate CAD designs into tangible prototypes, ensuring a smooth transition from design to manufacturing.
  • Basic knowledge in conventional manufacturing processes and will be a great addition.
