Senior Consultant at Emids Technologies Limited

The ideal candidate should have a solid software engineering foundation in .NET and be able to apply modern Generative AI, LLM, RAG, and AI application development techniques to build scalable enterprise applications.

We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer with 6+ years of software engineering experience, including strong hands-on experience in C#/.NET development and recent experience building AI/GenAI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using C# and .NET/.NET Core.
• Develop and integrate Generative AI and LLM-based applications into existing enterprise platforms.
• Build AI-powered applications using OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, or other LLM platforms.
• Develop RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) solutions using enterprise data and knowledge sources.
• Work with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar AI orchestration frameworks.
• Implement prompt engineering, context management, embeddings, and vector search.
• Integrate AI services and models with existing .NET/C# applications and APIs.
• Develop REST APIs and microservices using ASP.NET Core/Web API.
• Work with vector databases such as Azure AI Search, Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, or similar technologies.
• Build AI agents/workflows and integrate LLM capabilities into business processes.
• Work with Python for AI/ML development, data processing, automation, and LLM applications.
• Implement authentication, authorization, logging, error handling, and security for AI-enabled applications.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and LLM response quality.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, data engineers, and other development teams.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.

Required skills

• Software Development 6+ years of software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET/.NET Core.
• Strong knowledge of ASP.NET Core, Web API, REST APIs.
• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
• Experience with SQL Server or relational databases.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD.
• AI / GenAI Recent hands-on experience in Generative AI / LLM application development.
• Experience with OpenAI / Azure OpenAI / Google Gemini / Anthropic or similar LLM platforms.
• Strong understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, embeddings, tokens, context windows, and model parameters.
• Hands-on experience building RAG-based applications.
• Experience with vector databases/vector search.
• Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, or similar frameworks.
• Knowledge of AI agents, tool/function calling, and AI workflows.
• Experience integrating LLM APIs into enterprise applications.
• Python Good working knowledge of Python.
• Experience using Python for AI/GenAI applications, automation, APIs, or data processing.
• Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Search experience.
• Experience with Semantic Kernel.
• Experience deploying AI applications using Docker/Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Azure Functions, App Services, AKS, or other Azure services.
• Understanding of AI security, responsible AI, data privacy, and LLM evaluation.
• Experience with MLOps/LLMOps.
• Experience with automated testing of AI applications.

Preferred qualifications and skills

• Experience with FastAPI or Flask is an advantage.
• Good to Have Experience with Microsoft Azure AI services.
