Cable Design Engineer

<h2>Overview</h2><p><span>We are seeking an experienced <b>Cable Design Engineer</b> with strong hands-on expertise in the design, installation, and engineering of high-voltage and extra-high-voltage power cables. The role involves end-to-end cable engineering activities, including design calculations, route surveys, installation methodologies, and coordination of jointing and termination works for large-scale infrastructure projects.</span></p><h2>Your role</h2><ul><li>Cable design hands on experience.</li><li>Cable sizing and ampacity calculations.</li><li>Voltage levels 132kV, 275kV, 400kV and HVDC 500Kv.</li><li>Type of insulation.</li><li>Installation and Laying.</li><li>Cable laying methods.</li><li>Cable trench and duct bank.</li><li>Cable pulling calculations.</li><li>Route survey and desktop survey .</li><li>Jointing and terminations.</li><li>If experience in Sub-marine cables ( preferrable ).</li><li>Software CYMCAP etc.</li><li>Experience 5 to 10 years.</li></ul>
