Associate Engineer - Mechanical

<div><div style="padding: 10px 0px;border: 1px solid transparent;"><div style="font-size:16px;word-wrap: break-word;"><h2 style="font-size: 1em; margin: 0px">What you’ll do:</h2> </div><div><p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Primary responsibility of this role is NPI &amp; NTI Projects of Bussmann UL products that will penetrate the national and international markets.</span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">It also requires to have strong communication skills, drive, strong engineering acumen with mfg process and CAD design package related to things and enthusiasm in the product design.</span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Ensure product compliance to global design standards like UL, IEC, NEMA or any other compliance standard.</span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Has the good understanding best design standard practices and design requirements</span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Support system / component sizing, designing , simulation and testing activities to meet required performance of Fuses and Fusible Switches.</span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Modify existing products to support customer, manufacturing, applicable regulatory and industry standard, and market requirement through Change Management process </span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">

• Work in multiple programs/projects related to NPI and NTI projects to achieve business goals and Profit Plan objectives.</span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">
• Own end to end projects and deliverables including product conceptualization, detailing, design validation &amp; testing of products.</span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">
• Work in a cross functional/ multi-disciplinary team in making technology/ engineering decisions required for project execution.</span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">
• Designs, validates and releases system, sub-system and components independently as well as through team of engineers.

Creates CAD drawings- detailing, 3D models, Assemblies etc. and ensure release in PLM / ERP system per project plan.</span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">

• Contribute to create test plans in accordance with IEC/UL standards.

Create test object requirements, plan for assembly and finalize test parameters &amp; instrumentation. Responsible for conducting tests by ensuring deployment of standard practices. </span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">

Have a good technical knowledge and experience in design and development of Mechanical products like sheet metal products, cast/machined products, plastic products and relevant desing practices and standards.</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">2. Experience hands on experience in creating part detailing and designing, drawing creation, 3D modeling of parts/assemblies and 2D dimensioning and tolerance of parts, prototyping and validation</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">3.Analytical skills must include design/ selection, stresses, fatigue life, component fits and establishing efficient/ergonomic methods of assembly, Design calculations.</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">4. Should be aware with GD&amp;T, DFMEA, DFMA.</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">5. Should have good knowledge on different product design tools environment like CAD, Solid works, SAP.</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">6.Understanding of Fusible products would be an added advantage</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">7.
