Training and Employee involvement :<br>1. Conduct safety Induction program for all new entrants and continuous training programs for all employees/ workers working in the plant.<br>2. Conduct Mock drills on Emergency situations <br>3. Attend safety meetings in the plant and closing safety points of such meetings.<br>4. Conduct Safety round and sharing observation report on daily basis.<br>5. Conduct and ensure Tool box talk for all employees. <br>6. Ensure safety communication arrangements through Displays, Safety Signs, In House Magazines, Safety Literature, Annual Plant Safety Performance Report etc.<br>7. Involvement in safety goal/target setting, Improvement project, Safety Suggestion Scheme, Safety Promotional activities etc.<br>B. Safety Audits and Inspections<br>8. Ensure statutory inspection for all lifting tools&amp; tackles and pressure vessels through third party.<br>9. Conduct non statutory inspections for the plant<br>10. Comply ESS and GRC portal <br>11. Participation in safety audits and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for points of safety audits <br>12. Involvement in the process of hazard identification and risk assessment <br>13. Conduct Job safety analysis for construction activities <br>14. Involvement in statutory assessment of contractor from safety point of view<br>15. Controlling contractors through regular monitoring, reward &amp; penalty system and performance review of Contractor<br>16. Inspect all safety equipment and maintain them in good manner<br>C. Safety and fire Control system<br>17. Ensure good health of safety guards, safety interlocks, hand tools and power tools in the plant<br>18. Ensure 100% compliance with work permit system and safe isolation procedure <br>19. Study and control hazardous substances in the plant<br>20. Procurement and maintain personal protective equipment in the plant.<br>21. Monitoring noise, ventilation and dust in the workplace<br>22. Inspection of electrical equipment and installation <br>23. Ensure fire risk of hazardous area in the plant<br>24. Ensure maintenance of firefighting equipment and documentation <br>25. Ensure healthiness of fire alarm system<br>26. Train employees on emergency planning<br>D. Safety performance &amp; measurement <br>27. Report all incidents including near miss on ESS<br>28. Ensure investigation of all incidents including near miss<br>29. Maintain data of incident trend analysis <br>30. Recognizing and Managing Potential Loss Areas<br>E. Workplace safety<br>31. Ensure hygiene of workplace <br>32. Ensure safety display in the plant<br>33.
